Feadship just launched a brand-new 58m superyacht Najiba. Designed by Philippe Briand, the yacht was created to be one of the most efficient cruising vessels in the world. With a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising one of 12, the yacht consumes 11 liters of fuel per nautical miles cruised.
More than simply efficiency, the yacht makes incredible use of glass and create a true indoor/outdoor environment. The main deck offers unobstructed views on the surrounding seas. Inside the yacht, there are two master staterooms, one for each of the owners.
The world of yachting is changing quite rapidly to more sustainability to favor the protection of the oceans. More and more, designs are being launched with such capabilities and efficiency. The largest yacht in build, REV, will also feature sustainable design.
