This candy-coated pastel hued spring/summer collection from Glaswegian designer Nadine Schloen is a real treat. In this frivolous shoot a bohemian babe larks around with a rope as a prop; showcasing the fun nature of this collection to full effect. The collection features a lot of nods towards the cute, feminine retro fashions of the 50's and 60's from high waisted appliquéd shorts, to calf-length swing skirts, cropped sweaters and button-up shirts.
One thing that really stands out for me about this collection is the use of peter pan collars. The collars are used to full effect in this collection and the fact that they are detachable makes them hugely versatile. Another quirk you'll notice about this collection, if you look closely enough, is that Nadine Schloen's signature apple motif appears throughout.
