When most of us think of stuffed animals, we think cuddly, cute, snuggly and lovable. For some designers have more twisted, less affectionate associations with the toys. Matt Kirkland tore open this series of stuffed animals to reveal the insides of them, showing what the inner workings of mechanicals animals looks like.
I find these disemboweled, disfigured fuzzy toys a tad disturbing. I can only imagine the disappointment and disconcerting look in a little child's face at seeing his/her Teddy Bear, or Elmo or Barney disarticulated in a such a way.
