Hasbro's Tiger Electronic and Sega Toys have announced the release of their Automated Music Personality dancing robot music speakers. Known by its acronym of A.M.P, the 2.5 foot, 15 LB bot runs upright on Segway-like wheels to follow the user around the house, and has optional remote control. The robot also comes with a small backpack that stores an MP3 player which can connect to the bot via a jack.
Pre-sale for the ugly-looking A.M.P. is scheduled for August, with full retail availability following in October. The 'bot is expected to cost between $400 and $500.
