Munchery Plus is an online program based in San Francisco that is changing the shape of food delivery. Currently, those involved in the industry have to pay fees for the delivery of meals. The startup company is aiming to undo that system by charging a lump sum fee of $39 U.S. per year.
Those who sign up for this lump sum package will only have to pay for the cuisine itself and not the often high courier fees. For many who are interested in having food shipped, this concept will do away with any disincentives that one may feel when placing an order.
In order to launch the business model, Munchery is now collaborating with MOMA NYC chef Meg Grace Larcom and Kickin' Boot Whiskey chef Bo Maisano, making for an exciting commencement.
