Honestly, it boggles the mind as to where one could possibly wear some of the other-worldly, fashion-forward designs of Iris van Herpen. Having said that, there is still something fantastic about the actual styles of her latest Fall 2009 collection, darkly called "Mummification." The last three images, while still decidedly over the top, have a more wearable element than the rest of the Spring/Summer 2009 collection, as does the Refinery Smoke collection previously featured.
No matter how many times one wonders what else they can come up with, designers continue to amaze us with their inspirations.
