The MUJI market, which opened in Tokyo’s Yurakucho neighborhood, offers basic groceries and a wide selection of fresh produce. The compact space emphasizes the brand's values of minimalism and basic lifestyle needs which is displayed through the MUJI Hut, a functional micro living space filled only with fundamental requirements. The accompanied food market offers fresh fruits and vegetables that aim to offer consumers the opportunity to rethink their relationship with produce, where it comes from and how it impacts their lives. The market sources all its food from farms which use a minimal amount of pesticides or fertilizer.
