Mr. Bingo, an English artist, came up with an odd idea one day to send one of his friends an offensive greeting card. Since pretty much the entire greeting card industry is built around creating flowery, often flattering messages, Mr. Bingo thought it might be fun to flip the concept on its head.
He sent his friend Jonathan Hopkins a greeting card saying something mean. Apparently, for some reason, it was a hit and word started to spread. Soon, he turned it into a service for other people to take advantage of.
Customers requested a piece of hate mail be sent to a specific person of their choice, but did not get to choose which card was sent (there are over 400 in total now.) Mr. Bingo has now compiled all 400 and made it into a book.Photo Credits: designboom, mr-bingo.org.uk
