Tree Trunk Furniture

The Mountain Collection by Alexander and Matteo Bagnai is Sleekly Rustic

The name of the Mountain Collection is somewhat deceptive. Aside from referring to the great outdoors, the furniture pieces that make up the line don't embody the mountains so much as they embrace the forests that surround many of these ranges. The Mountain Collection is comprised of stools, tables, benches and even mirrors that are made out of tree trunks.

Designed by Alexander and Matteo Bagnai for Momenti, the Mountain Collection is stunningly raw and yet surprisingly sleek. The latter is due in large part to the of glass and metal as well as glossy finishes. Although the pieces would look most at home in a rustic cabin, the Mountain Collection could easily be used for modern and urban homes.
