Seoul hosts the 'Scroll' pavilion designed by MOTOelastico -- its sits beautifully in the Hangang Art Park as a part of the overarching open-air collection by Eun Byungsoo featuring a total of 37 public art pieces. The Scroll design is constructed from FRP, which is fiberglass reinforced plastic.
It loops around three times and is large enough for visitors to use it as a resting piece or as a performing area. The architects recorded the flow of the Hang River traveling from east to west and noticed the scroll and twisting platform that the bodies of water created. The pavilion is essentially a sculpture that represents the path of the Han River.
