The new Moscow office for fertilizer producer Uralchem is a masterful contemporary space that is both subdued and charismatic. The workplace, which will serve as the company's headquarters, boasts a chic black ceiling defined by medium sized white dots, creating a playful yet refined polka dot pattern.
The mesmerizing ceiling is balanced by wooden interior walls and a steel grey flooring that gives the room depth.
Designed by Lisbon-based Pedra Silva Architects, Uralchem's new Moscow office is a relaxing setting that borders on ultramodern while remaining serious enough to be the headquarters for a chemicals company.
The project faced several unique challenges, such as having to incorporate a handful of floors that had been built with the intention of becoming a hotel.
