Shift Robotics have announced the new Moonwalkers Aero strap-on walking assistance solution as its latest model that's engineered with a lightweight and quieter operation experience in mind. The product takes the form of the same gliding footwear add-on as the original, but with fewer wheels with four powered ones and two unpowered ones. The rollers are also reported to be 20dB quieter than the original and capable of propelling wearers to a 7mph top speed with up to seven-miles of total range.
The Moonwalkers Aero can be quick charged through a USB-C connection that will turn 30-minutes into five-miles of assisted walking. The wearables are rated to accommodate shoe sizes from a women's size six up to a men's size 12.
