Vans Unveils Its Second Japan Fabrics Collection Entitled MONALISA©

Vans introduced its first Japan Fabrics collection in February, and its latest treatment is the MONALISA©. The label's second drop from the collection is created by Japan's Komatsu Seiren Co. It is a special digital technology that is able to infuse a plethora of colors together -- up to 17 million hues -- and create a realistic iteration of textures, artwork, and pattern designs. The visuals that this new footwear collection boasts include paper prints, marble designs, and a leaf pattern.

These digitally printed designs see itself on the uppers of Vans' iconic silhouettes including the Old Skools, the Eras, and the Slip-Ons. Additional to the textural prints, the sneakers are also finished with the label's signature vulcanized waffle outsoles, tonal lacing systems, and branding details. The MONALISA© sneakers are available beginning today online at ABC Mart and other Japanese sneaker retail locations.
