Cassina Debuts Its Abloh-Designed 'Modular Imagination' Collection

Italian design studio Cassina has announced the launch of 'Modular Imagination,' an all-new collection of "building blocks" designed by former Off-White founder Virgil Abloh. The unusual two-piece collection consists of block-like structures that can be used to decorate the home.

Interestingly, the brand never makes clear the exact use for these all-black block structures. However, they can be combined to create different shapes, allowing them to take the form of various potential furniture pieces, such as a side table and bench.

"In complete respect of Virgil Abloh’s work, Modular Imagination enters the Cassina catalogue, emphasising the value of this project that does not aim to be a limited drop but attests the quality of his work within the design world," said Cassina in a recent statement.
