OFF-WHITE's Virgil Abloh is collaborating with fragrance label Byredo on a unisex black and white modern luxury fashion collection, dubbed 'Elevator Music.' The name references sounds that are subject to "passive listening." This plays into the collaborative intention to not overwhelm the consumer, but rather "define emotion with the least amount of effects."
The capsule will boast distinct fragrances, denim, graphic tees and a contemporary bag that sports the iconic OFF-WHITE branded strap.
In order to launch their prolific modern luxury fashion capsule, OFF-WHITE and Byredo tap into German Artist Carsten Höller for an artful installation that "explores the relationship between products and human perception." The commissioned work bears the name of 'The Elevator' and openly explores the phenomenon, known as 'Elevator Syndrome.'
