Modern Design Review was selected to curate Hem X's collection of stunning and ground-breaking designs. As a platform, Hem X gathers one-of-a-kind pieces and designs offered in extremely limited quantities. According to Founder Petrus Palmer, Hem X has "established itself as an emporium for the aesthete, empowering the next generation of designers with Hem’s own industry expertise and allowing for people to invest in contemporary collectibles."
Modern Design Review worked with Hem X on the playful PROPS collection of stools. Six creatives were challenged to interpret a common stool through their personal artistic lens. The results are, of course, unique, interesting, and captivating—from the Regen Stool by Wendy Andreu which utilizes vibrant cotton rope to the Mirror Block Stool by Seongil Choi which is more futuristic-looking.
