Liquid Metal Seating

Aluminum Bar Stools by Michael Stolworthy are Fluid & Flowing

Ultra-modern bar stools 'Intrigue' and 'Serous' by Las Vegas-based designer Michael Stolworthy are fantastic examples of fluid design. Reminiscent of sinuous works by architect Zaha Hadid, these stools have a liquid quality, as if plasticized molten metal has been stretched between its supporting legs.

Stolworthy uses a sand casting method to create his glossy bar stools, which gleam after meticulous polishing. The Serous model is available in the chrome and anodized aluminum red shown here as well as in gloss black and hardwood finishes.
