Designer Nicole McLaughlin works in collaboration with Marrell 1TRL on a sustainable new shoe dubbed the Moc-Laughlin. It is a playful rendition that nods to both of the contributing efforts and delivers three colorways of the slip-on silhouette.
The shoes were first unveiled to the public during Paris Fashion Week at the Merrell 1TRL showroom earlier this year. It is inspired by a few elements including McLaughlin's childhood as her father was a fan of Jungle Moc along with her own admiration of finding vintage Merrells at thrift stores and online. The silhouette is a nod to the Moc Speed Streak, which was a women's model. The three colorways include "Black/Amber," an original Moc Speed Streak scheme, "Birch/Hiviz" and "Coyote/Olive."
