Hand-Dyed Indigo Boots

Tenue de Nîmes and Red Wing Shoes' Moc Toe Boots Boast Deep Blue Leather

Tenue de Nîmes is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year with 10 collaborative projects and is kicking it all off with a 'Moc Toe' boot alongside Red Wing Shoes. The new footwear silhouette boasts blue hues throughout the entire model, with the uppers complete in a special deep blue and a contrasting lighter blue over the midsoles. The highlighting element of the new collaborative boot is the hand-dyed process -- the indigo leather construction gets its color from Momotaro Jeans in Japan.

This dyeing process allows the shoes to age like denim and Tenue de Nîmes' CEO Menno van Meurs ensures that each pair of Moc Toe boots will age and fade uniquely. Notably, the shoes are limited to only 75 pairs and will be sold exclusively in Amsterdam.
