Have you ever looked down at your shoes and wished they could turn into a mobile shelter? If so, you're in luck, because the 'Walking Shelter' sneakers do just that. Created by the design collective Sibling, this multi-functional footwear stores a fully functional tent inside netted pouches on the side of the shoes.
When pulled from the back of the shoes, the habitat expands around the body, which provides shelter dependent on the human frame. It can also be customized to withstand different environments. This makes the product ideal for nomadic urban living. The mobile shelter can also be zipped open or closed.
When the tent is stored within the pockets, from afar, the sneakers appear feathered or winged. This completes the illusion of being constantly on the go.Photo Credits: designboom, siblingnation.net
