Boomerang-Shaped Tables

Miss Understood by Tcherassi Vilato is Playfully Striped

The Miss Understood collection is comprised of playful tables that would catch anyone's eyes. Especially since, depending on how one views them for the first time, they could look more like works of art than practical pieces of furniture. Shaped like a chubby boomerang, its silhouette is quite unorthodox. But what really makes the Miss Understood table collection stand out is the use of bright colors and a striped pattern.

Designed by Tcherassi Vilató, a branch of the Barcelona-based TCHV Architects studio, the Miss Understood table collection is inspired by the rockabillies tables from the fifties. Carved out of MDF, each piece is sprayed in color and then coated with a glossy finish and final protective layer. The gold leaf detailing is optional and the legs are made out of timber.
