Miriam Ponsa presented her Spring/Summer 2015 collection during 080 Barcelona Fashion week and looked to her travels for a dose of visual inspiration. The designer was "inspired by the porters in Melilla who transport heavy loads across the border from Spain to Morocco" when creating her latest line of multi-functional menswear.
The Miriam Ponsa Spring/Summer 2015 collection was presented by top model River Viiperi and others in a runway show that highlighted nomadic separates, head-wrap accessories and over-sized carryall gear that is both a fashion-forward and functional option for travelers.
The collection’s organic materials and harnessed belt accents were perhaps its most striking elements and translated cultural traditions in a contemporary way.
