Grim Bug-Eyed Amplifiers

'MinuSkull' Speakers Bring a Dark Twist to Music Blasters

Parisian duo Kuntzel + Deygas bring you the 'MinuSkull' Speakers, music amplifiers with a quirky look that deliver bold sounds.

The MinuSkull Speakers take on the shape of a bug-eyed skull that's more playful than grim. Most designs like this usually depend on visual aesthetics to sell, but Kuntzel + Deygas have put in a lot of work on the technical side as well. The speakers are guaranteed to create "a perfect sound without any distortion, even when the volume is very low," according to the designers. The interior boasts a tailor-made Mosfet amplifier that delivers crisp, clean sounds and two broadband Fostex Fe-83 speakers backed up by a mini subwoofer for a deeper bass. The Minuskull can be connected to any external device and it can be connected to any home stereo system to improve on what you have.
