In anticipation for the release of Disney's 'Despicable Me 3,' McDonald's Singapore has released a minion-inspired dessert.
Made of banana-flavored soft serve presented in a blue cone, this tasty treat is meant to loosely resemble a Minion. The banana soft serve apparently tastes subtly fruity and creamy and some are comparing the flavor to banana milk. Fans of the Disney Despicable Me franchise are able to scoop up the Minion-inspired dessert for only $1 and there is the option to dunk the cone in chocolate sauce. The banana flavor of the dessert is meant to serve as a reference to the Minions' manner of speech and their love of the tropical fruit.
While there has been no word on whether this Minion-inspired dessert will make it to North America, State-side fans can expect McDonald's to find some way for us to celebrate the third installment of Disney's hit.
