Mini DIY Homes

This Tiny, Portable House is Delivered to You and Ready for Assembly

Inspired by overpopulation in different parts of the world, one company developed mini DIY homes that are both innovative and practical.

Clara da Cruz Almeida, a South African architect, collaborated with product design company 'Dokter and Misses' to create a portable, tiny home called the 'POD-iDladla.' The home is 24-square meters and is delivered to you, pre-assembled.

Little over the size of an average American bedroom, the home uses space efficiently. The house includes a bedroom for two, a task area, a bathroom with a shower and a toilet, a kitchen with a dining table and a sheltered outdoor deck.

Currently only available for shipping in South Africa, the price for the mini DIY home is currently under review.
