The concept of a military mind control helmet is of slight cause for concern, but it is also extremely interesting. DARPA is looking into the installation of transcranial ultra sonic mind control devices into soldiers’ helmets.
Working under a grant, a professor at Arizona State University is working diligently to produce a helmet that will change the future of warfare. With the research that they have been conducting, they feel that by manipulating the soldiers brains with transcranial pulsed ultrasound technology, they will be able to produce a soldier that is essentially super human. This a non-invasive technology where the soldiers will be able to flick a switch on the helmet and allow for multiple functions like boosting alertness, relieving stress, reducing the effects of traumatic brain injury, get sleep at appropriate times and even reduce the effects of pain.
