Mitsubishi has developed updated, upgraded versions of its MiEV Evolution racing cars with a view to making a big impact in the Pikes Peal International Hill Climb event, in which Mitsubishi will compete in the Electric Modified Division. This fully electric racecar is extremely powerful and adaptable.
The MiEV Evolution racing machine is equipped with an engine that puts out 603 horsepower of power to its four motors. Each motor is essentially an upgraded version of the electric power plant found in the production i-MiEV vehicle.
The vehicle's powertrain uses an ultra-light tube-frame chassis. The front-end has been optimized for maximum aerodynamic effect, with the integration of a spoiler and carbon cowl. The vehicle's Super All-Wheel Control All-Wheel-Drive system has been optimized for top-quality handling and traction control.
All in all, this is a vehicle from which Mitsubishi's race car drivers can expect maximum performance and reliability.
