Microsoft has debuted a new Microsoft Edge RSS feature for users of the testing version of the popular internet browser. When internet surfers come across a media feed or content creator that they enjoy, they are able to click on a button on the right of the URL bar to add this page to a custom RSS feed. The button currently only allows for the following of content creators on platforms such as YouTube, but will expand to more media feeds at a later date.
After following a creator with this feature, individuals can access their personalized RSS feed by navigating to the 'Collections' feature in the Microsoft Edge browser. Due to the feature's infancy at this time, when a content creator's post shows up in the RSS feed, only the name of the creator and title of the post will appear. While most RSS feeds have a summary, this has yet to be added to Microsoft's in-built RSS builder. These features are still only accessible on the 'Canary' testing version, but will be accessible to more users in the coming weeks.
