Shanghai's newest Microneighborhood built by MINI LIVING, is an experimental co-living space that's fusing retail with residential and public spaces.
The innovative community will serve as the first real world project for the design company, as the team will be creating its first permanent site. The site is located at a former paint factory that's comprised of six large buildings. The unused buildings will be transformed into spaces for work, leisure, living and culture. The co-living space hopes to integrate every aspect of one's life into one tight knit community.
The entire building will feature a design inspired by MINI LIVING's motto "Creative Use of Space," which emphasizes the firm's ability to create something beautiful and livable, out of a minimal interior.
