Mexico might be more famous for its fabulous resorts, beautiful beaches and Aztec architecture, but this week at the British Auto Show, the country's ultra-sleek Mastretta MXT was unveiled to the public. The hot little two-seater is Mexico's first crack at 'supercar' stardom.
The rear-wheel drive Masteretta does 0 to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds, powered by a supercharged 2L Duratec engine from Ford. With 240 horsepower and 5-speed manual transmission, the lightweight tops out at 150 mph.
According to Luxury Insider, “More than 80 cars are ready for the U.K. market, and the vehicle will go on sale next May at a cost equivalent to $65,919."
That's out of my range, but not a bad price for such a cute car.
Personally, I love the bright orange colour too!
