Designer Riley MacKay dreams up the Metal Stool concept which boasts a minimal aesthetic and unique form that recalls the angular notion of aliens. It rests on top of four legs that seem to twirl and twist within itself around the middle section of the stool.
This is to replicate the look of tentacles that are moving around for a dynamic look. The legs also protrude at certain angles away from the body and towards the side to form the look of a spinning star when the stool is being looked at from the top. This also creates a visual and mechanically balanced look despite the thin and flat leg structures, it has a strong form.
