The Italian designer Alessandro Zambelli created this metal furniture collection which is on display at the 'Matter of Stuff' gallery.
The unusual collection is made up entirely of three different metal materials -- copper, iron and brass. The collection stays true to the colors of the metals except for a circular feature on the coffee table that has been dyed various shades of blue -- adding a playful pop of color in an otherwise somber display. The metal furniture collection was inspired by design and decor that was common toward the end of the 1920s.
By giving old designs more modern interpretations, the designer has created unique pieces of furniture that function as novelty items.
