Body Art is a Trendhunter favourite. Here, the art form has been stepped up considerably with not just a single body being painted but several bodies. They have been grouped together in different ways where the body alignments and arm and hand placements are part of the compositions.
The vividly coloured and mesmerizing body art is the work of Seoul based Korean artist, Kim Joon. Many of his compositions are entitled Bird Land perhaps because the hand and arms are reminiscent of birds. The black and yellow one is for example, called "Bird Land - Donald Duck". The whimsical one with just black on pale skin is entitled "Bird Land - Batman". Look carefully for the bat logo. Kim Joon's Ebony series shows striking colour combinations - pink on chocolate brown.
