Foursquare-Inspired Accessories

The Meshu Jewelry Fashionably Visualizes Favorite Places

There is something to be said about a well-traveled person, or someone who simply likes to explore; the Meshu jewelry collection allows people to display with pride the places they have been do, be it in their own hometown or overseas. Instead of relying on typical typography or actual silhouettes of the countries and cities they live in or have visited, the Meshu jewelry collection visualizes the data found on a person's Foursquare profile.

Conceived by data visualizer Sha Hwang and interaction designer Rachel Binx, the Meshu jewelry collection triangulates the locations to create unique geometric-like pendants and earrings. Made out of wood, acrylic, nylon or silver, the patterns are either 3D printed or lasercut.
