In order to double its sales figures, Mercedes teamed up with German ad agency Lukas Lindemann Rosinski to turn around its brand image, so the luxe brand came up with the innovative concept for their Sprinter ad: they got the Sprinter to actually apply for a job!
The Sprinter’s tires are the world’s first printing type tire that has its application letter printer on its tires. The tires were simply splashed around in mud and then "drove" to print its application letters that were sent to major buyers of commercial vehicles.
This form of marketing strategy is definitely unique, creative and attractive making it an out-of the box success.
