The Meo Shelf is inspired by the look of scaffolding. The yellow metal propping up each wooden surface mimics the planks that hold scaffolding systems together. A simple concept, the Meo Shelf nevertheless gives the classic shelving unit a dynamic facelift that allows it to fit nicely into both traditional and modern homes.
Created by Montreal-based designer Olivier Desrochers, the Meo Shelf is made out of solid oak planks and steel supports. The steel is available in a number of colors, from which a person can choose. A relatively low lying design, it will provide a great space for storage while adding a touch of decor to the specific area it is placed in. By combining both form and function, the Meo Shelf is the best of two worlds.
