The collaboration between Zaha Hadid and Melissa ushered in a new era in shoe design: shoes that are not merely a part of your wardrobe but are also pieces of art that are designed as meticulously as an architectural project.
In fact, Zaha Hadid enjoyed the process so much, she has recently collaborated with French fashion brand Lacoste on a new Spring 2009 shoe.
To celebrate and promote their exquisite shoe designs, Melissa recently released a collection of print ads and TV commercials as part of their "Melissa Plastic Dreams" campaign.
The campaign was created by Casa Darwin, Sao Paulo with Rodrigo Leao as the creative director and copywriter, and Jarbas Agnellis as an art director and illustrator.
