A New McDonald's Fries-Themed Crosswalk Guides You Right to the Restaurant

A McDonald's restaurant in Malaysia has created a hand-painted walkway of fries. The painting starts at different intersections, with each fries line guiding to the Mcdonald's restaurant.

The restaurant is located at the Golden Triangle in Bukit Bintang. The bright gold strip of fries is easily recognizable and the perfect marketing strategy to gain headlines. Kuala Lumpur, the city the painting is in, is one of the leading cities in the world of tourism and shopping, claiming its title as the sixth most visited city globally. The city with 2 million residents is home to two twin towers, made of glass-and-steel-clad skyscrapers with Islamic motifs. The towers also offer a public sky bridge and observation deck.

Created in celebration of the first Bukit Bintang McDonald's opening 40 years ago, the fries crosswalk concept was seven months in the making before its completion.
