The minimalist home decor designed by Maya Selway doesn't rely on bold colors and patterns to make it attractive. The items resemble two-dimensional drawings, with thick black lines that curve to form a creative interpretation of household objects.
The items are made of oxidized copper that actually forms an outline of the object it represents. It does not seem like Selway's collection of dishware and vases are able to hold anything because they appear to be unfinished. However, though it would not be wise to poor water in the vase, the candelabrum is able to snugly secure a wax candle.
Maya Selway is a London designer with a keen interest in the functionality of certain objects and manipulating metal properties.
