Inspired by the characters from de La Fontaine fables, Mauvais Marie is a quirky range of plush toys all created by hand. Created by Elsa Boucinha, the Mauvais Marie dolls were first designed when Elsa had her first baby and wanted to create something funny and playful for her child to engage with. Prior to creating these toys, Boucinha had no experience in sewing but was determined to create something special.
All of the toys in the Mauvais Marie collection are made from original designs and are crafted and embroidered by hand. This ensures that each piece is slightly different, making them unique and unashamed to be individual. All the creations also feature material free from toxic or allergic substances and are CE-marked to ensure they are made in the safest way possible.
