Mechanical Owl Art

Matt Walford Creates a Bird of Prey put of Watch Parts

Everywhere people turn in art and design there are owls and now digital artist and photographer Matt Walford has added to the this hootastic phenomenon. Of course, instead of creating yet another owl product, he has decided to take this bird of prey and create a beautiful and unique collage. Like Perseus' pet owl Bubo, it is a cute creature fashioned out of mechanical parts.

In this case, Matt Walford's Clockwork Owl (or Bubo the Owl) is made out of watch parts. Through this deconstruction, Matt Walford ends up reconstructing his own world. As he says, "I think this spells from a boyish need to take everything apart and put it back together again, plus a great love of science and the natural world."
