I can't say what has captivated my attention more in regards to the Master Class portrait series: the experimental fashion designs or the stark photography. Of course, it could simply be the combination of the two that has caught me eye.
Photographed by German-based photographer Madame Peripetie, the Master Class portrait series features the surreal and sci-fi fashion from the Royal Academy of Arts' graduating class of 2011. Stunningly original, each outfit looks as if it were made especially for Lady Gaga.
More than that, however, the Master Class portrait series is right up Madame Peripetie alley. Known for her strangely imaginative shoots, Madame Peripetie couldn't have been a better choice to photograph the Master Students' final creations.
