Massive Beach Sculptures

Sand Rushes is a Huge Design

Measuring 53 x 40 meters and visible from afar, the Sand Rushes Sculpture by production company MGFX Studio and blackprojects is an impressive form of sand art of epic proportion.

Reminiscent of the infamous crop circles from aerial view, the design of sand sculpture, which appeared at Rhossili Beach by the Gower peninsula, took the shape of a gigantic Rushes logo. To ensure perfection and success, the process from start to finish involved meticulous and detailed planning, from finding "both a suitable location with perfect conditions of flat sand and tidal movements, and also to create scaled constructional plan to work from of the Rushes logo", according to the Behance.

The ambitious project finally concluded after an exhausting three and a half hours, and the Sand Rushes piece was then left alone for 48 minutes before swallowed by the tidal waves.
