The conceptual 'Mass' public bench has been designed by João Teixeira for the Render Weekly Challenge as an outdoor furniture solution that would provide a spot to sit that can be changed according to evolving needs.
The bench works with a series of modular components including a metallic base that functions as the main support and will anchor onto the ground, while also serving as a planter for keeping greenery nearby. The connector is slipped overtop in one of three styles -- single, corner or bridge -- before using a series of wooden seating sections to offer several sections for sitting.
The conceptual 'Mass' public bench offers an ingenious idea of how outdoor seating could be produced en masse for incorporation into virtually any space thanks to the modular design for enhanced efficiency.
