As always, the Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2012 collection offers up bold uses of uncommonly seen colors for his new line of casual menswear. An Elmo-inspired, red fur hat, along with hues of yellow, green, brown and orange, that most associate with the sixties, make up the dominant color selections that can be seen in the garments of this lookbook.
The clothing is modernly tailored, offering slim silhouettes and subtle details. My personal favorite is a pair of black and blue, color-blocked track pants that are separated with a line of red piping and are paired here with a matching bag. For those of you who have come to love the designer’s signature style of sportier, casual pieces, the new Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2012 collection does not disappoint.
