While many designers at New York Fashion Week opted for a tough girl look full of leather and studs, the Mara Hoffman Fall 2012 collection went in a completely different direction.
The designer told Style.com that her inspiration for this season's presentation was "shaman gauchos." She wanted to "give the clothes the movement they deserve on the runway."
Hoffman, who is known mostly for her excessive use of prints in all of her collections, did not let that aesthetic go this season. The Mara Hoffman Fall 2012 collection is full of printed, flowy dresses fit for a bohemian queen.
"Third eye" prints even made an appearance on screened silk dresses, for a dreamy, magical feel.
