Map2 by Anne Stauche is a delightfully low-tech way to discover a city. The map, which is actually map squared, is made of paper and features no technology whatsoever. That means that it won't talk to your smartphone or give you your current GPS location.
What map2 will do, however, is let you zoom in on your current area merely by folding it. That's right, gone are the days of having to squint intently at a map to find where you are and what's around you. Stauche has designed two maps, one for London and another for Berlin, and she is currently seeking funding to help get her project off the ground and into gift shops. Map2 by Anne Stauche, if fully funded, will cover other cities around the world, including, but not limited to: New York, San Francisco, Tokyo and Venice.
