Swedish lifestyle imprint Urbanista unveils its new Malibu speakers, which is a wireless device that is powered by the sun. It implements Powerfoyle solar cell technology and the brand notes that it is "the world’s first solar-charging wireless speaker."
The speaker is able to charge under indoor and natural lighting sources to ensure that it is functional throughout all seasons of the year. When it is fully powered, it can function for the entire day and if it is resting under light constantly, then the battery will not reduce. The sustainable approach continues with the design-build of the Malibu as well, using recycled plastic and other materials. Notably, the speaks is also waterproof and comes with a lanyard for portability.
