As luxury brands extend its appeal to interior design territories, interior designers start to experiment with luxury cosmetic concepts, as demonstrated by Italian designer Marita Francescon's MakeUp Now! collection.
The furniture create an ironic, post-Sex and the City vibe, bringing an entire armory of beauty tools directly into your living room. The collection includes a powder armchair, eye shadow table, lipstick stool, mascara hat stand and a nail polish LED lamp. The dominant color palette of the collection is red, pink and fuchsia.
Creator Marita Francescon graduated from the European Institute of Design in Barcelona in 2008. Her works have been exhibited at the Biennial of Contemporary Art in Dakar, as well as at 2012 Milan Design Week.
