Atelier Ace Conceives the New Maison de la Luz Boutique Hotel

Atelier Ace had originally conceived the Maison de la Luz boutique hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana and it was inspired by traditional Southern guest houses. The space is elevated with sophisticated design language and premium details, which is made possible with the design collaboration of Studio Shamishiri.

The hotel has 67 private rooms and each one is designed with slight Southern design accents. An airy ambiance detailed the guest house, which can also be seen continuing to the private living room and hidden salon that is notably connected to Bar Marilou for a unique experience defined by historical aesthetics. The house is also defined by an Italianate style as it originally functioned as the City Hall annex for 50 years in 1908.
